answer: Diet is an essential tool in the fight against premature aging and chronic disease. Now, back to your question about anti-aging diets. There is a lot of research showing that a minimally processed, plant-based diet can transform your health, as can eliminating added sugar and inflammatory foods like red and processed meat. Now, new research examining the effects of the MIND diet on aging strengthens these guidelines. Using a program that assessed more than 75 epigenetic biomarkers that reveal how quickly a person’s body ages, researchers found that the MIND diet significantly slowed the body’s overall pace of biological aging. found to reduce the risk of dementia.

The MIND diet recommends consuming at least three servings of whole grains per day. Consume at least one serving of vegetables (other than green and yellow vegetables) per day. Consume green leafy vegetables at least 6 times a week. Consume nuts at least 5 times a week. Legume meals at least 4 times a week. Berries at least twice a week. Poultry meals at least twice a week.
