Zendaya opened up about her struggles with anxiety and said everyone needs to take care of themselves.
The 27-year-old star opened up about how anxiety has affected her personal and professional life during a panel discussion about her new partnership.
“I think sometimes people look at me and assume I’m this kind of person,” Zendaya said.

My therapist, family and friends say, ‘You should get up and go outside,’ but I never want to do that. But when I force myself to do it, I realise it’s actually a good thing. I feel less anxious. I have to be really intentional about taking care of myself.”
“I’m learning to take more responsibility for myself and my body and take care of everything,” she added. “Sometimes I just have to get out of bed and tell myself, ‘Today is the day. I’m going to take a shower, put on some clothes, and get some sunshine.’ I try to set myself little challenges.”
Discuss the importance of meditation; Euphoria “Listen, I’m just learning the importance of breathing exercises and meditation,” the star said.
“I’ve been living and working on sets since I was a kid, and for me it was just out of reach. I just kept running, running, running. I feel like I’d held my breath for so long,” she explained.
