A British woman suffering from Molthussechvia, a fear of ketchup, claimed that her condition was frequently dismissed by people.

Ms Woodman even avoids leaving ketchup at home, and fears she will even throw away any dishes or dishes that are in contact with the sauce.
Ms Woodman confessed that she knew her phobia might look “how dramatic” to others.
She said, “I’ve always been embarrassed by it. If someone holds me at the muzzle, I freeze and panic. If someone pushes ketchup into my face, that’s exactly how I feel is.”
Ms Woodman, who gets sick from the smell, also spoke about her biggest fear: dishwasher ketchup. “I will never be able to use it or any of my plates or cutlery again. It makes me feel panicked,” she revealed.
Unlike those who are scared of seasonings due to their resemblance to the colour of their blood, Ms Woodman revealed that her fear lacks proper explanation.
Leigh Woodman added that her Mortuusequsphobia developed unexpectedly.
“I don’t know how this started. I remember absolutely petrifying it, and I couldn’t even see it. I know [if there’s ketchup in the room] I don’t even see it or pay attention to it,” she said.
