Social media celebrities often secure a loyal following by creating a specific niche for themselves. Call it personal branding, a gimmick, or your “thing” and some people become known for something and manage to gain a following.
For a TikToker named Madison (@a_madison), participating in all-you-can-eat buffets to see how long they can sit and get a restaurant meal before they get kicked out. Sometimes, like her trip to Golden Corral, her employees are very welcoming and considerate of her, letting her stay from opening to closing without too much trouble.
And sometimes management puts the brakes on her dining experience and informs her that she has overstayed her welcome. To Ms. Madison’s credit, in most, if not all, of her videos, she does not engage in sexual harassment of employees during shifts, or even multiple employees during shift changes. They seem to be tipping pretty well.
But Madison recently tried a different kind of marathon session. This time, she wanted to see how long she could stay at Anytime Her Fitness’ store. The gym is open 24/7, and the TikToker tried to stay there as long as possible until an employee intervened and told her that she had gotten enough exercise in one visit.
The end result is what Madison calls “the craziest video I’ve ever made.”
She narrates a series of clips documenting various workouts she does while occasionally holding up a photo of bodybuilder Sam Slek for inspiration. Madison successfully completed 26 hours of continuous training. She takes breaks by doing various weightlifting exercises, jumping on different machines, and walking on the treadmill for long periods of time. In fact, in between walks, she technically covered the equivalent of a marathon, all of which was recorded on her Apple Watch.
She spent so much time at the gym that her watch eventually broke during a marathon session. Also, since she was going to the gym for long hours and working out a lot, she needed to make sure she was getting enough calories to keep working out. . In between workouts, she ate lots of tuna packs and Quest protein cookies and bars.
“…even though things are looking up, my food is stagnant. I noticed that I was the only person in the entire building. Employees clock out at 7 p.m., but on Tuesdays at midnight “It’s close, so there are no customers,” she said, showing off the desolate gym, stressing that she was indeed the only member who actively went there.
Madison took a break from exercising to charge her wearable and spend time cleaning the gym. She records herself picking up debris on her ground and wiping down her counters and various surfaces before finally returning to her work.
“I decided to clean up the place while I charged my watch. I only got 115 grams of fiber and 311 grams of protein. Employees weren’t supposed to be back until 11 p.m., but… One of them came back at 8 a.m. We passed each other and he didn’t care,” she says.
“Other employees came back at 11 o’clock and no one cared,” she continues. “I was up for 27 hours, but Anytime Fitness isn’t going to kick me out any time soon, so I decided to quit. I spent 26 hours at the gym. I think I got my free membership’s worth. .”

People were shocked by the extreme lengths Madison went to in her videos. One person wrote, “Girl, why didn’t you throw up!”
Another wrote: “Why are you so comfortable talking about this?”
One person shared: “You are the most interesting person alive.”
“I know I slept better after that,” exclaimed another TikToker, while another called Madison “the ultimate side quester.”
Another TikTok user quipped, “I spend more time in the gym in a day than I have in my entire life lol.”
