In a March 23 video she posted to her account, she shared details of the switch she made for her diet and lifestyle, dropping “4 kg in six days.” However, she added: “I’m never going to promote diet/lifestyle changes or thoughts about your body. I’m neither an expert either. I share my experiences so think of what I’m saying with a pinch (or a huge bucket) of salt.” Read again | Jyotika shares the diet and fitness secret behind “losing 9kg in just 3 months” and screams to Vidya Balan

How did she lose the extra weight?

Here’s what Shelley said about her weight loss: “I lost 4 kilos in six days. This is how I did it. First, let me break down the ‘diet’. It actually helped me maintain my weight.

Losing weight without losing muscle mass requires a proper nutritional combination, and Shelley made sure to eat enough protein to achieve her fitness goals. Her weight loss diet plan also excludes caffeine, alcohol, processed meat, sugar, and fasting days.

She shares all the details in the video and says, “I’m not a fan of my life.”

1. During the first week, do detox and intestinal reset with protein shakes, vegetables, and a high protein diet.

2. The second week is for muscle recovery with a high protein diet and fasting.

3. Week 3 is to increase fat burning with more fasting and higher protein foods.

What to eat, what to eat

Shelley also got a glimpse into the diet plan and dietary switch that she can actually eat. For the first 3 days, only protein shake meals are available for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. It is then a mixture of protein shakes and “carbohydrates-free” and is a regular meal served with foods like multigrain rice, boiled fat-free chicken, fish-free chicken, nuts, eggs, berries, bananas, sweet potatoes and more. Some foods are “banned” under this diet program, and these include caffeine, alcohol, processed meat and sugar.

Shelley said, “What this (the diet switch) does is force your body to use your fat as a source of energy. Last year, I did it personally. And it reduced my fat percentage. But winter happened exactly. I started eating again, but this time I made some changes. There’s absolutely no dairy.

What is the diet switch?

For more information about dieting, see Korea’s “Science-backed approach to weight loss and gut health,” click here For the December 2024 Medium.com report. According to the portal, the diet switch is a four-week metabolic reset program designed to optimize fat burning without muscle loss. “This diet is a huge hit in Korea due to its simplicity, proven results and gut-friendly focus,” created by Dr. Park Yong-woo.

The diet switch is reportedly not related to extreme calorie cuts or crash diets. Instead, it balances intermittent fasting, a clean diet, and your metabolism, all emphasizing while supporting gut health.
