A woman was banned from a gym after complaining that a male patron was interfering with her video.
Going to the gym can be an anxiety-inducing experience for some users. From worrying that you’re doing the wrong exercise to obsessing over how you look when you’re sweating, for anxious people, even going to the gym in the first place can be It’s a big accomplishment.
But modern technology, especially smartphone cameras, has made the gym a much more anxious experience for many patrons. We’ve been covering a spate of incidents at gyms where influencers have been accused of filming unsuspecting people as they work out.

Going to the gym can be an anxiety-inducing experience for some patrons, especially if they’re filming.
For example, a woman was accused of teasing an elderly patron and kicking a punching bag, while the man himself had no idea he was being accused online.
Now, another influencer is under fire after complaining that a man interfered with her shot during a workout.
Influencer’s gym membership canceled after video went viral
The backlash began after an influencer named “mrocha_85” uploaded a video of her working out on Instagram. In the video, she was performing weighted lunges on the space turf with a barbell.

On the right side of the astroturf, I could see a man removing the plate from his bench press. At one point in the video, he appears to look in the influencer’s direction, but it’s unclear if he was specifically looking directly at her.

She doesn’t seem happy about men appearing in her photos, writing in the video’s caption: Who invited him to appear in my video? God, please give me patience. ”

The video quickly went viral online, infuriating viewers who said she was angry at the man for a seemingly minor violation. This video came to our good gym friends all over the internet. Joey Swole who called her out in another viral clip.
“Just because you start filming doesn’t mean other people have to stop training just for you,” he said. “You don’t own the gym.”
That’s not all; Ms. Swoll even claimed that when she called the gym and spoke to the general manager, she was assured that the influencer’s membership had been revoked as a result of this incident.

Update* I spoke to Kishan’s GM at this EOS location and he thanked me for this video. He informed me that he had spoken to the gentleman in the video and confirmed that he was comfortable being there as a member. He also revealed that he had revoked her membership.

The manager also said he approached the man in the video and “made sure he was comfortable as a member and comfortable at the gym.”
Commenters were quick to praise Swoll for reaching out to the gym and calling out the gym-goer’s bad behavior. This is something he is famous for as a “gym-affirming CEO.”
