Madison, Wisconsin (WMTV) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) provides grants to organizations to promote mental health and substance use services.
According to DHS, the grant prepares the workforce for the beliefs, practices and needs of diverse communities.
“This grant program recognizes that all Wisconsins have the right to expect high-quality, accessible care that is treated with dignity and respect when it comes to mental health and substance use disorder services. DHS Secretary nominee Karen Timberlake said:
DHS encourages Wisconsin-based organizations to work with people facing barriers to access to care to apply for one of ten grants of up to $100,000. increase. Organizations should use funds to promote services tailored to the cultural preferences of individuals.
