His candidacy is far behind, lagging far behind campaign leaders such as former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
In a May 2023 interview, Binkley told the Des Moines Register, part of the USA TODAY Network, that he believes he can lead the way with a platform that prioritizes unity and, at times, bipartisanship on fiscal, immigration and health care policy. He said he believes it can be done.but December Des Moines Register/NBC News/Mediacom Iowa Poll Zero percent of caucus attendees said Binkley was their first choice.
Binkley recently sued Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon for trying to get his name on the primary ballot even though he didn't meet the criteria.

Who is Ryan Binkley?
Binkley is president, CEO and co-founder of Generational Equity Group, an M&A and business advisory group. Headquartered in Texas. He worked at Procter & Gamble and Boston Scientific Corporation before founding Generational in 2006.
He is also the co-founder and senior pastor of. create a churchbased in Richardson, Texas.
In recent years, Binkley said, “I heard a call from the Lord about what our country needs,” leading him to begin a presidential campaign, his first foray into elected politics. . He touts his business acumen and his belief in driving a candidacy that prioritizes “solutions for the country.”
What does Binkley focus on with his platform and campaign?
Binkley criticized Democratic and Republican leaders, telling the Des Moines Register in May 2023 that they are “really having a hard time uniting their party, let alone their country.”
He outlined four key areas that he plans to focus on in his campaign. These include efforts in all areas to balance the federal budget, reduce health care costs, reform immigration policy, and “revitalize education'' to encourage participation in local communities.
He argued that current leaders are inadequate in all four areas.
“Former President Trump ran a budget deficit,” he said. “Many other presidents … and senators today all voted to continue what we've been doing.”
“We need to know how much it's going to cost us” when it comes to health care, Binkley said, calling for more transparency from insurance companies.
He also called for a strong “volunteer movement” among young people to tutor and tutor other students to boost declining test scores and reading comprehension.
And when it comes to immigration, he believes the only real solution requires cooperation from both sides.
“One party wants a secure border, and the other party wants some path to success for the immigrants who are here,” Binkley said. “I think we need to work together and come up with some kind of visibility plan to know who is in this country right now.”
