Not just my mental health, but obviously my physical health. My life has changed a lot. I just I just want to get stronger!”
Simmons consumes a lot of protein to provide energy. “I love starting my morning with oatmeal. It's a great source of complex carbohydrates that give me the energy I need in the morning, especially before the gym.” she tells Lifestyle. “Plus, she makes sure to include a protein source, like scrambled eggs. I love making smoothies at home, and they're loaded with fruit and great antioxidants, so they're packed with protein.” I can't even taste it. I just toss it in.” Add spinach and fruit and a spoonful of protein. ”
Simmons has learned from experience that restrictive diets are not sustainable. “I'm a big believer in living a healthy lifestyle rather than dieting.” she tells forbes. “I tried dieting and failed. I tried dieting again and failed again. It was a never-ending cycle. As soon as I realized the importance of living a balanced and healthy lifestyle, , I stopped dieting and living a healthy lifestyle.''
Simmons is excited to see so many women trying strength training. “It's amazing to see how the fitness community continues to change every day.” she tells forbes. “More women are finding the confidence to go to the gym and step into the previously intimidating weight-training zone reserved for men. It can be intimidating, but so many women are breaking through that barrier. .”
Simmons lives a healthy lifestyle, but refuses to be obsessed with perfection. She said, “I'm all about living a healthy lifestyle, so as long as I'm eating healthy 90% of the day, I can eat a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the day.'' I think that it is all right.” she tells Lifestyle. “If you don't have balance, you go crazy. Mental health is where my fitness journey started. If I ate only protein shakes all day every day, I would lose my mind. It's all about balance. It's okay to take care of yourself, you should! ”
