The new facility is 4,000 square meters, has parking space, and accommodates general practitioners, trust communities, senior day care services, and all patient and client services are located on the ground floor.
Dedicated accommodation provides increased accessibility, service delivery and an increase in the multidisciplinary team working within South East Fermanagh.
It also addresses current spatial issues and allows us to increase our service offerings at Lisnasky, including podiatry, speech therapy, physical therapy, mental health services and geriatric services.
In connection with this acquisition, Western Trust is in the process of detailed design work, planning, statutory approvals and tender preparations.
Construction work is currently scheduled to begin in January-February 2024, with the new facility scheduled to open in early 2026.
Western Trust CEO Neil Guckian said:
“This represents another step in delivering services in a modern environment, designed with significant input from local staff delivering care, and focused on meeting patient and client needs. I have.”
