Multiple organizations came together Wednesday to raise awareness about mental health. Watsonville Preparatory School holds mental health fair for parents and students

On Wednesday, groups came together to raise awareness about mental health. More than a dozen local partners participated in Watsonville Prep’s inaugural “Steps Towards a Mental Health Fair” in Watsonville. This event was designed to help students and parents find mental health resources. “Our community has great resources to help our students and families, and having access here and being able to bring everyone together makes it so much easier,” Watsonville Prep Principal Andrea Hernandez said. Some of the organizations include Salud Para la Gente, Community Action Board, and Survivors Healing Center. School officials said such events help interact with the community.
