When Debbie Sass came across an Instagram post of a three-legged stray cat in need of a foster home, she never expected it to bring about a miracle in her life.
The cat in question was named Princess Charming. Unfortunately, her story was far from fascinating. The unfortunate kitten had lost a leg to cancer and had little experience with human interaction. Her doctors gave her six to nine months to live and predicted that her cancer would return.
But for Debbie, it was love at first sight. She immediately decided not to foster her and instead adopted a cat, planning to give her a loving home for the rest of her days.

“When I got Charming, I wasn't thinking about myself,” Szasz said. “I think my only concern for her was her. My focus for her was just to give her her good life, give her love, take care of her, give her a safe place to heal.” did.”
Debbie was focused on winning every day. Give her new pet treats, make her home feel like a safe place, and speak to her in loving words.
After about three months, Princess Charming began to come out of her shell. Slowly, this cautious cat's personality shines through her tough exterior and she comes to trust her new mother, and even her feisty Pomeranian brother Cole.
“She's getting better every day. I'm so proud of her,” Saas said.
It's been 6 months. Then there are nine. One year has passed since then. Princess Charming had survived longer than anyone thought. Ultimately, she celebrated being cancer-free for more than a year with her adoptive mother.
Debbie credits this miracle to love and a little advice from a stranger.
“I met this girl and told her that I had just adopted Charm. She said please tell her that you love her every day and that your love will heal her.” Please tell her she can do it.”
Princess Charming's story went viral after Debbie shared it on Instagram, inspiring many people who felt a connection to Princess Charming.
“I realized the hope, love, and positivity that this movie gives people. It has reached out to people who have lost a pet or family member to cancer. People who have been through cancer have been inspired by this video. gave me a message about how much they inspired and empowered me,” Saas exclaimed.
