Finding great deals at Walmart isn’t always worth buying.

A bargain hunter named Maddie (@peachyymaddi) shared his four favorite finds on TikTok with his over 461,000 followers.

She usually posts videos revealing where you can get the best deals from places like Dollar Tree, Amazon and most recently Walmart.

she posted a video We’ve added a few of our four deals to skip.

Below, I’ve outlined what she should buy and what she should avoid.

1. Purchase – Mainstay Blender

The Walmart-branded Mainstays Blender is currently available online and in stores for just $16.88.

It has 6 speeds, holds 48 ounces and is dishwasher safe.

More importantly, it’s over $10 cheaper than other items in the store.

Avoid – Oyster

For example, the Oyster brand is almost $29 and only has 5 speeds.

So customers are basically paying 40% more for a brand name, but not necessarily a better product.

“I’m going to defend the Mainstays blender for $16. Why would you sit here and pay for a $28 blender,” she said.

Next was the pillow.

2. Purchase – Mainstay Pillow

Maddi said a Mainstays brand pillow is worth $15.

Walmart shoppers can choose from five colors: brick, gold, beige, gray and turquoise.

Just be aware that the last three colors are currently out of stock.

Decorative pillows are made of 100% polyester chenille and are 18 x 18 inches.

Avoid – Lay Dan Dupe

The Rae Dunn-inspired font used on many of the pillows initially disappointed her because she felt it was overrated and overused.

“Well, we have to move on from this,” Maddie said on TikTok.

3. Buy – Better Home and Garden Candles

The Better Homes & Gardens brand comes in a 16 oz. reusable ceramic container. A blend of two complementary scents.

Shoppers can find these in papaya or lime scents and have a burn time of around 35 hours.

“These will be $30 at Target,” she said.

Candle has a decorative matte finish with 8 ounces of wax on both sides.

Plus, each candle is just under $15.

Avoid – Yankee Candle

“At the moment, I think Better Homes & Gardens is better than Yankee Candle,” said Maddi.

Not only are these more expensive, but the design isn’t as decorative as the others.

4. Purchase – Rugs

Maddy says Walmart is one of the cheapest places to buy a rug.

“Walmart has a lot of styles to choose from. It’s a good place to go,” she said.

The rug she showed on TikTok was just under $50 and came in a variety of patterns and colors.

However, shoppers can find more options on that website at an even lower price.

Avoid – Succulents

Succulents are another item to skip because they’re practically the same at just $1.25 at Dollar Tree.

At Walmart, fake plants are $4 each, so you’re paying about $3 more.

Walmart shoppers can get $100 products for just $45.

In addition, new grocery stores that rival Walmart have opened to offer convenience to customers.
