Another day, another training trend. Walking yoga is one of the latest to take off, what is it, and should we do it? I’m not familiar with fusion fitness – blending into one method of several fitness areas – but I’d like to know if I should be more aware of yoga walking as a keen yogi myself Ta.
Let me fill in what it means despite the trends in walking yoga. This is a low-impact training that combines slow, nourishing yoga movements with walking and breathing work. So far, so good. But without context, all I can think of is to try a downward-facing dog in the middle of a dog walk. I’m sure there’s more to it than that.
