Viral Video: “Every Time I Try To Eat Healthy”

A viral video with super smooth transitions amazed people (Photo: Instagram/nicosobo)

The video creator’s unique take on healthy eating is going viral on Instagram. Niko Sobolewski’s creative video editing shows how “healthy” food disappears all the time around him. The smooth transitions and relatable content delight Instagram users. For example, when he tries to cut a watermelon, it “explodes” into a bunch of (empty) rubber balloons. When someone puts an apple on his mug, he reaches out to grab it, but can’t. In the next shot, he peels the apple sticker off the wall. As if the fruit was never there in the first place. Then he starts to cut a carrot on a wooden board. But after a few seconds the carrot seems to “disappear”.

There are several examples of these smooth transitions, but the creators always seem to miss the point of “healthy” foods: mushrooms turn into whipped cream, tomatoes into fake “red noses”, bananas into bloated bananas. The reel’s caption reads: “Every time I try to eat something healthy, this happens…” Watch the whole video to get the gist.

“Wow, that’s amazing! It’s like a masterpiece.”

“Amazing, and so is my life!!”

“Me: What’s going on? My brain: …I have no idea.”

“I thought there would be at least one fake or cake.”

“When you turn it over, the carrots suddenly disappear from the chopping board, lol.”

“The transitions are so clean, it makes me question my eyesight.”

“Please stop. I’m not smart enough to figure this out.”

“It’s been a while since I’ve had such a good time.”
