The vegan social media influencer whose video about eating tropical fruits raw has garnered billions of views on TikTok has died at the age of 39.

Samsonova claimed to have lived on a completely raw vegan diet for over a decade. In a social media post dated September 2022, Samonova wrote that it had been five years since she switched to a “completely fruit-based, low-fat diet.” Their staple food is jackfruit and durian, fruits with a noxious odor.
