Update: Kosher Hive Supermarket closes

It has been confirmed that Evergreen Supermarket will overtake the recently closed Kosher Hive Supermarket.

Just one year ago, Monsey residents celebrated the opening of the new Kosher Hive Supermarket.
The Rockland Daily had the opportunity to tour the facility ahead of the opening and shared an inside look and some good news for residents who have been eagerly awaiting the grand opening.
Unfortunately, the supermarket faced serious financial difficulties from the start and the situation has only worsened over time. Despite recent rumors on social media, Kosher Hive has remained in business to this day. And now, it is official, the supermarket will be closing immediately.
Over the past few days, The Hive has been holding major sales to clear stock, but the store remained closed this morning.
Rumour has it that another local supermarket is in talks to buy Hive – more details to come.
