Campus and location awareness
The efforts of staff from nine UC campuses and the Chancellor’s Office have been recognized with 38 Circle of Excellence awards from the Council for Advancement of Teaching, which recognize creative and inspiring projects that impact institutions and their communities and change lives around the world.
- UCLA Health Health Care Equity Certification by the Joint Commissionhas received accreditation from leading accreditation agency for its commitment to providing high-quality, equitable care to all patients. It is the first health system in California, the Western United States and the first nationwide to achieve this accreditation.
Individual, team and group awards
Crystal Wiley Sene, chief administrative officer for health justice, equity, diversity and inclusion at UC San Diego Health, is using her childhood experiences to work to create equitable, diverse and inclusive environments and eliminate barriers to quality health care.
Shortly before his retirement on June 30, UC Berkeley librarian Jeff McKee Mason shared his thoughts on the library’s past, present and future.
