Mr. Vulgarella was unanimously appointed CEO of UAB Health System and CEO of UAB/Ascension St. Vincent Alliance in 2023, after serving on an interim basis from 2022. A certified public accountant by profession, she brings over 30 years of experience in the corporate world. Previously, she was President and CFO of UAB Health System, and she assumed the role of CEO of UAB Systems. In this role, Bulgarella is responsible for an annual budget totaling over $5 billion.
