Tips for staying on top of your mental health this holiday season

WACO, TX (KWTX) – As families get together, it may be time to reflect on all the good things that have happened in the past year.

It can also be time to have difficult or unnecessary conversations.

Emotions that come with such a loss can be backed up with drugs during the holiday season, giving way to poorer mental health and stability.

“If you experienced a loss last year, know that it will be magnified during the holiday season. If you have lost anything, friends, family. Losses of all kinds. You may have lost your job. A loss is a loss and there is grief in it,” Erickson said.
