Like most people my age (millennials), I’m always looking for ways to make healthier choices. Unfortunately, there is a limit to how much time, money, and brain power I can devote to finding and implementing these healthy habits. I find that when it comes to getting all the nutrients I need on a daily basis, I tend to go off track the most, especially when I hate bland foods and love sweet treats. In my quest to take the guesswork out of at least the morning, I realized the following: good quality protein And that protein line swings. The superior protein shake promises 21 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber per serving, all delivered in a delicious, creamy shake. I’ve been making Good Protein Shakes every day for over a week, and I have a few thoughts.
- There are many flavors
- Keeps you feeling full for hours
- very delicious
- Easy and quick to make
- Doesn’t taste like dessert at all
- has an unpleasant aftertaste
detail

Is it delicious?
I tried the Good Protein Shake banana & cream and strawberry & cream Flavor. Mixing protein powder with water didn’t surprise me. However, replacing the water with milk significantly improved the taste and texture. That being said, my favorite way to get protein power was by blending it with frozen fruit. This took the shake from good to really good (and an incredibly easy breakfast option).
Good Protein does not refer to its shakes as meal replacements. But the first drink left me feeling full and satisfied until noon, and adding some frozen fruit made me feel even more satisfied. I have a very sensitive stomach and I am happy to say that I have not had any stomach issues using Good Protein.
What I like about it
If you’re tired of eating the same thing every day, this type of shake is for you. You can switch up the flavors of your shakes and keep your palette from getting fatigued.
I drank a Good Protein Shake for breakfast for over a week and didn’t think about lunch for at least 4 hours afterwards.
It’s delicious when mixed with water or milk, but it’s even more delicious when you add frozen fruit. Good Protein Shake has better flavor and is easier on your stomach than any protein powder you’ve ever tried.
Each bag of protein powder comes with a scoop for dispensing small amounts. It’s quick and easy to mix with water or milk, or add to smoothies.

What I don’t like
Good Protein says its shakes “taste like your favorite dessert.” The taste is delicious, but I don’t think it tricks my brain or tongue into eating dessert.
Good Protein uses Reb-M, an organic substance found in stevia leaves, to sweeten its shakes, which the company claims is a zero-calorie sweetener that tastes just like real sugar. . It’s unclear if that’s what’s creating the unpleasant aftertaste, but we’ve found that adding real fruit to your shake can easily mask the aftertaste.

When I was younger, I often relied on meal replacement shakes in an attempt to lose weight or suppress my appetite, without any consideration for their nutritional value. On the contrary, I fell in love with good quality protein We focus on quality ingredients and nutritional benefits, as well as actually delicious. I look forward to waking up in the morning and making my shake, and I love how it gives my body what it needs.
While this shake doesn’t mimic the taste of real dessert as much as the brand claims, adding frozen bananas or other fruit takes the shake to the next level and reduces the unpleasant aftertaste.
