  • They recommend having your maximum meal by noon and an early dinner

Eating most of your calories early in the day and having a light dinner a few hours before bed can actually help you lose weight, a leading nutritionist has revealed.

Brisbane’s Leanne Ward and Sydney’s Susie Burrell are co-hosts of a very popular show. nutrition couch This podcast aims to demystify the myths surrounding dieting and healthy eating and explain how you can achieve the best results.

In the latest episode, the fat loss nutritionist highlighted a new research paper. It found that people who ate their dinner earlier often lost more weight than those who ate their staple food at night.

They say women in particular get the “spread of calories throughout the day” wrong, and this contributes to unexplained weight gain and fluctuating energy levels.

“Working with clients every day, I’ve advised women to get the majority of their calories in the first half of the day, if possible,” Susie said on the podcast.

“Many of my clients are busy working and on the go moms, and I think it’s hard because they only get the chance to think about nutrition after they get home in the evening and the kids are asleep.

“But while many of us sit down and have our main meal, snacks, and a glass of wine in front of the TV at night, it’s not the best time to eat it.”

Leanne agreed with Susie, saying that going to bed on a full stomach is never a good idea.

“I feel bloated and sluggish and don’t have enough time to break down the extra energy that is expended during the night,” she said.

Instead, eating well for weight loss requires “planning and preparation.”

“I think a lot of people fall at lunch,” Susie said.

“They might pick up coffee and pastries in the morning and then delay lunch. will be

“Dinner is the main meal of the day with the family. It’s often heavy and high in carbohydrates, like pasta or Mexican food.

Instead of doing this, she said, you should prioritize light, early dinners such as fish or chicken, and larger meals by 12pm.

“The old saying of eating breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen, and dinner like a pauper has some meaning,” said Leanne.

Aside from just a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry in the morning, nutritionists say you should try to eat your main meal by 12pm (stock image).
They (pictured) said that lunch should be the “main meal” of the day and that soup and salad alone would not be enough for dinner.

Dietitians recommend that women do as much We recommend that you eat a proper breakfast.

In that case, lunch should be the “staple” of the day, and soup and salad alone won’t last until dinner.

Instead, you can do these and add a whole grain wrap or sandwich to your meal.

“Dinner should be light and early to give the body time to digest,” Leanne said.

“And if you enjoy something sweet or enjoy a glass of wine at night, you might also think of ways to go lighter,” added Susie.

“At night we may choose between wine and dessert, and at night we may have fish instead of steak.

“The body’s circadian rhythms and hormones are everything, and it’s important to optimize them for the best weight loss results.”
