One simple lifestyle change was the first step towards a surprising physical change for a 36-year-old woman.
Leah Hope Manchuso decided it was time for a change after her nephe left migraines, foot and back pain and “slow sweating” on her 2022 trip to Disneyland.
At the time, the photographer from Scottsdale, Arizona weighed around 400 pounds (28 pounds and 8 pounds).
But soon after, she adopted a simple habit. I walk for just 10 minutes a day.
“It was everything I could do at once,” she said.
“But as I built up durability, I was able to go from 10 to 15, 20, 30.”
This gave her confidence and ability to move on to other forms of exercise, promoting her epic fat burns.
Today, she weighs 185 pounds (over 13 koku), and she presents some amazing things before and after her social media results.

“I’ve added swimming to the mix and ultimately I’m also playing strength training, pickleball and hiking,” Mankso said.
“About a year after my trip, I hired a personal trainer who I’ve worked regularly ever since.”
Social media users said Mancuso’s story encouraged him to continue his weight loss efforts.
“When I felt like I wasn’t walking, I came to her page and lost 27kg (60 pounds) walking and calorie deficit.”
Ms Mancuso recently underwent surgery to remove excess stomach skin that was left behind as a result of physical weight loss.
In a heartfelt post, she said she had left tears of joy shedding from the outcome.
“I’ve never seen that view before, I don’t have any extra weight, I don’t have any loose stomachs,” she wrote.

Ms Mancuso recently had surgery to remove excess stomach skin left during a monumental weight loss effort.
“It was overwhelming to see my version that I didn’t know about. A version of my body that I had spent years imagining and imagining, but had never had the opportunity to experience it until that moment.
Mankuso started gaining weight as a result of her busy schedule, so she turned to junk food and unhealthy snacks to keep her full while she’s out.
As the weight piled up, she began to struggle to move.
“I lived a life where every step felt like a burden, so I started moving as much as possible,” she said.
Remembering her old meal, she said: “I usually had Starbucks most mornings – bench [large] Caramel drizzle, blueberry muffins, Danish caramel macchiato.
“I often pick up another meal for lunch or dinner. It’s something like an in-out burger, and I order two fries so I could eat it with the burger and store it for snacks.
“I ate frozen foods quite often when I ate at home. It’s a simple thing that can be heated like a burrito.”

In addition to her short walks, she also began to maintain a food journal to document what she ate. Eventually we moved to tracking calories.
Her typical breakfast now features items such as cheese, some fruit, or scrambled eggs served with poached toast eggs.
For lunch, choose a cottage cheese bowl with maple syrup and fruit or sandwiches.
Dinner, on the other hand, is usually a pasta dish with chicken and potatoes, chicken sausages, and vegetables such as broccoli and peppers.
Ms Mancuso returned to Disneyland with her ne in 2023, and is 190 pounds lighter than her “miserable” first visit.
“This time, not only did I feel lighter, but I didn’t have to worry about my limited energy, so my mind was lighter,” she said.
“My heart was lighter because I didn’t have to feel guilty for missing out on my experience with my nephew. Nothing was a burden. Nothing was inconvenient.”
