Chia seeds are incredibly versatile and can be easily added to countless favorite breakfasts to boost their nutritional benefits.

“You can sprinkle it on your yogurt, add it to your oatmeal, sprinkle it on your avocado toast, sprinkle it on your eggs, sprinkle it on your coffee, or just mix it with water,” Moskowitz suggested. “You can soak it in almond milk, dairy milk, or oat milk and leave it in the refrigerator overnight to make it ready to go.”

By making small tweaks to tried-and-true breakfast staples, like adding nutrient-dense foods like chia seeds, nuts and fruit, you’ll get more of what your body needs without missing out on your morning favorites. You can.
