Experts added that the gut plays a huge role in overall health and it’s important to take care of it.

She continues, “Many age-related complaints are also related to imbalances in the gut flora.

“As we age, the composition, diversity, and function of our gut bacteria change, leading to a decline in beneficial Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species.
