market guide
We have updated or revised several market guides, including those from Leaps, MedPage Today, The New York Times, and AARP. We've also added his two new market guides for relatively high-paying publications. they are:
- Chemistry & Engineering News: The editors of this print magazine and website, owned by the American Chemical Society, welcome feature articles about the chemistry of the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry and its products. For example, the publication featured an article about finding better biomarkers (molecules in people's blood) to diagnose diabetes. The editors are also interested in articles on atmospheric and environmental chemistry and public health implications. For featured articles, which typically range from 800 words to 2,000 words, we pay at least $1.60 per word for single-source articles such as Q&As, and at least $1.90 per word for multi-source articles.
- Harvard University public health: This primarily digital publication from Harvard University's TH Chan School of Public Health seeks stories about public health. Features, scene-driven stories, investigations, trend analysis, Q&As, and more. Freelance rates for reported articles start at $1 per word and go up from there depending on the complexity of the article and other factors. Most articles are between 800 and 1,500 words in length. Q&A may be a little shorter.
