Teddi Mellencamp Strive to be an advocate for your skin health. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has spent years sharing her trajectory on social media, including some very risky posts about her cancer treatment regimen. Accountability coaches are now looking to mental health as a topic they want to raise awareness about.
The former RHOBH star has been going through a lot of changes in her life as her divorce from Edwin Arroyave continues. And she recently had a severe panic attack. Teddy wrote about his experience to his followers.
“Anxiety is not a choice,” wrote Teddi Mellencamp.
“I woke up at 3am today with intense anxiety,” Teddy shared on his Instagram Story.
But the Two T’s In A Pod podcast host wasn’t looking for “sympathy.” She said her motivation was to be aware that “other woke people” were feeling the same way.
Teddy listed “decreased concentration and decision-making ability” and “irritability, nervousness, and restlessness” as symptoms of anxiety.
“I felt nauseous and had stomach pains. I had heart palpitations. I was sweating, shaking and shaking,” she continued. “Sleep disturbance. Having a sense of imminent danger, panic, or doom.”
Teddy then encouraged his followers by telling them: “It’s okay.” She added: “We will get through this.” She spoke about the seriousness of her illness by denying that no one has a “choice” about feeling anxious.
“I’m grateful for my health, my children, being back at work together, and the people who make me laugh and understand that anxiety is not a choice,” she said.
The podcast host listed some tools he uses to help himself when he’s in a state of anxiety. Working out “in some capacity” is also on the list. Another option is to do a cold plunge or sauna.
“Being able to hug someone you love. [Getting] fresh air. Set boundaries,” Teddy concluded. If she loses focus, Bravolebrity has tasked her liability coaching company, All In By Teddy, with holding her “responsible for doing the above.”
