Author Tahira Kashyap Khurrana recently shared her physical transformation reel on her Instagram handle and she is very happy. “I feel great. I can now wear old clothes that I bought five or six years ago. I can now easily walk 10,000 steps a day. I don’t have any complexes about my size. “But I feel happiest in my healthy inner self right now,” she says, adding, “The changes have been very gradual and my family is very proud of my accomplishments.” This journey has been slow but meaningful. So they have been my support system in gravitating toward healthier options. We are a family. I am healthier as a person.”
Elaborating on why she gained weight in 2020, the 41-year-old said: “When lockdown happened, we were all at home and a lot of people were very laid back, myself being one of them. Lack of exercise due to this.” Due to bad eating habits, paranoia and bi ta ki gar se koi nikal nahi raha hai, I gained weight. Not only was my weight affected, but so were my vitamin D, hemoglobin, cholesterol, and all of these levels. It wasn’t all about the physical changes and bloating, that became a byproduct, but the journey started with working on my level,” she shares.

I don’t exercise, but I just… All you have to do is put on your gym shoes and go.” “I did a lot of work. It was a slow and steady process as Kashyap was in no hurry and wanted to recover from the inside out. “It took four years, but the progress I was making was small. I wasn’t cutting back on the basics, eating homemade meals, and planning my training for my age. There were also a few comments about not losing weight. “Yes, I only weigh 6-7 kg, but I feel much healthier,” she continued, adding, “With regular training and healthy eating, I feel much healthier.” Thanks to this, all my levels improved, and a byproduct of that was a lighter stomach.”
