Pregnancy can be judged not only for being lazy or sleeping too much, but also for being too active. Women who exercise during pregnancy or shortly after giving birth may be judged too selfish or too careless. Despite the fact that exercise is a health-promoting activity, unsolicited advice is bombarded with not exercising during pregnancy. But is there any truth to that? Sucheta started her career as a mother when she turned 37. It is generally considered late in pregnancy by societal standards. It wasn’t because she was having health problems with her, but because of a “mental block” that made her think her body was going bad. But now, she thinks becoming a mother in her 40s “couldn’t look any better or make her feel any better.” She even recently posted on Instagram that her studies to become a postpartum corrections specialist helped her heal herself in the right way.

Mothers should prioritize their physical condition

No matter how great your mother is, she often makes you feel like you aren’t doing enough. That’s the beginning of a chain of maternal guilt. While struggling to find balance and peace in her life, she often forgets to put herself first. This process leaves them feeling weak and tired.

What they don’t understand is that only healthy mothers can raise healthy children, so they need to focus on themselves. In fact, research has shown that postpartum fitness has several benefits. To start your fitness journey, it’s important to let go of postpartum myths

Whatever the goal, when we hear or see something negative, we believe it to be true. And this happens when a woman begins her motherhood steps. When you see how other women’s bodies change around you, it can trigger a reaction and force you to believe the myths surrounding motherhood and what comes after her. Sucheta experienced the same challenge, seeing how the women around her felt the pressure and how they changed. But she didn’t let her misunderstanding cloud her judgment, instead turning to her research.

Sucheta let go of all the taboos in her mind and knew that pregnancy was next. And when she becomes a mother, her body changes, for better or worse.

“I looked up exercise during pregnancy and it’s actually recommended and it’s very good. Secondly, if you’re equally interested in fitness and if everything is going well in the first trimester and all your test results are good, I chose an OB/GYN who actually encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing, and third, when I got the green light, I spread the right word to many women and my body changed. I decided to give them that confidence.”

She says mothers should focus on helping the body repair and recover in the right way.

“There is a huge gap in women not being given the recovery phase of movement and fitness that requires core and pelvic floor rehabilitation. The way you treat and treat your body in the gym is so different than it used to be, so I’m trying to bridge that gap and put a step in the middle so women can Through my program, you can educate them on how to recover their bodies and how to handle them in real life situations and in the gym.All they need is time, patience and consistency. “I feel like I’m running a marathon every day. You’re out of breath, you’re exhausted, and your body is changing. Mom is basically an endurance athlete. When I start my next fitness journey, I feel empowered because I know I can do so much more than I was able to before. I find that I have,” she added.

So don’t think of pregnancy or childbirth as the end of your journey. In fact, it is the beginning of a stage with fruitful results. All you need is “support and the right guidance to get you through motherhood and love yourself enough to make fitness a priority in your life.”
