ST. George — Imagine someone whipping up a delicious three-course meal from the comfort of your home without you having to lift a finger. The best part? It doesn’t cost a penny and includes everything from meals to cleanup.
“Spending time with the Food Network is like a night off,” said Bridget Gentry, an authorized Life Changing Dinners dealer. “Dinner and a show, just sit back and enjoy.”
Gentry, who has run Life Changing Dinners in southern Utah for the past nine years, said it all started when she took an introductory cooking class on her own that changed her life.Brands teach you to give up. You don’t need delicious food to be well-nourished. Instead, both can coexist. And they are dedicated to creating easy, delicious and nutritious meals every day.
Instead of providing packaged ingredients and expensive subscription services, we provide essential skills and tools that lead to healthier daily lives.
This introductory class involves Life Changing Dinners employees visiting families’ homes with the food and equipment needed to teach the whole family easy, healthy eating. Jenley said the meals are also approved for children.
Each class includes the use of Salad Master cooking equipment. Gentry says the cookware is non-toxic and made from 316 titanium steel, the highest grade steel used in the cookware industry. Comes with a patented lid and heat-conducting alloy to keep all food at the same temperature during cooking. It’s corrosion resistant, easy to clean, and won’t swell like other metals.
Once the food is cooked, the family enjoys the meal and a complete cleanup is provided.
“Our ultimate goal here is to teach families how to cook at home and create easy, delicious and healthy recipes,” Gentry said. “Food is medicine and it can be. I just want to share that.”
The home-cooked experience includes fried chicken, lasagna, salad, cake, and applesauce, all made in less than 30 minutes. Diabetes and heart disease are prevalent in many families, Gentry said, which motivates him to spread knowledge and prevention methods. Most of his recipes consist of four to six ingredients, many of which are approved by the American Diabetes Association.
“We want to make it easy,” she said. “We know people are busy. Stay hungry, eat the food, stick to the recipes. It’s so much fun when the whole family participates. And people really appreciate what we do. Masu.”
How much does the introductory class cost? All introductory classes are free. Other cooking classes will also be held. kitchen At $25, St. George aims to inspire new recipe ideas and variety. Classes are also held elsewhere in Utah. Please see the class schedule for more information. If you are interested, you can also take cooking classes other than the introductory class.
“I’m not a chef or anything. I’m just a busy mom myself,” Gentry said. “So these classes will help you get more recipe ideas and ways to incorporate the same vegetables and fruits into different meals.”
The next cooking class with Life Changing Dinner will be held at The Kitchen on February 22nd from 6pm to 7:30pm. Participants will learn his five new recipes to take home and eat delicious dishes.
