Digital Behavioral Health Company Sondermind announced this week that it had acquired total braina platform that allows users to track their mental capacity, emotions and stress levels.
Total Brain’s products include brain assessments and tracks, general mental health screeners, and personalized self-care and stress relief programs. The company was previously listed on the Australian Stock Exchange but went private following an acquisition.
SonderMind helps match patients with local and in-network therapists and set up in-person or virtual appointments. The company is pitching the deal as a way to help therapists monitor care outcomes, provide collective health reports to corporate clients, and provide a more comprehensive offering to insurance companies and the healthcare system.
SonderMind co-founder and CEO Mark Frank said in a statement: “Building on the foundation of quality care that SonderMind clinicians are delivering today, Total Brain will help change this status quo. By empowering people to better understand their psyche, we can help individuals become faster and better, and we’re partnering with SonderMind to bring these people to life in both digital and therapeutic ways.
