(Manchester, NH) – Today, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) spoke about recent legislative accomplishments in New Hampshire and discussed priorities for the coming year at the New England Council’s Washington Update Forum. has been previewed.

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, so many Granite Staters now have access to cost-effective health plans.” said Senator Shaheen. “Today's discussion with health care providers and stakeholders highlights the key benefits of having health insurance through the Affordable Care Act and also highlights ways to improve access to health care in the future. This roundtable included three insurers participating in the New Hampshire ACA Marketplace, Elevance, Ambetter, and Harvard Pilgrim, as well as behavioral health stakeholders to discuss obtaining insurance that supports mental health needs.
