Samsung Health is Samsung’s health and fitness monitoring platform that powers the health tracking features in the Galaxy Watch and upcoming Galaxy Ring. The new features have been hidden within the app’s code, but are currently in development and not yet officially available.
The first one would allow you to scan medications and automatically add that information, presumably data like the name of the medication, mg dose (strength), whether it’s a tablet or capsule, etc.
For 2023, Samsung has announced medication tracking for Health, which basically helps you track your medications and gives you tips on medications, general descriptions of added medications and possible side effects, etc.
The second feature currently in development is drug allergy interactions: you can select a few common allergies or add your own, and Samsung Health will let you know if a drug is likely to cause an allergic reaction.
