NUH Adopts AI Triage Tool to Treat Strokes Faster

Singapore’s National University Hospital uses an AI-powered triage tool to quickly identify stroke patients requiring endovascular treatment.

The hospital sees more than 1,000 ischemic stroke patients each year and has set a goal of ensuring that at least half of those patients receive adequate treatment within an hour of arrival.

To reach its goal, NUH turned to RapidAI, which processes brain CT scans in less than a minute. Since introducing the technology in February, the hospital has expedited more than 400 stroke treatments.


HMI Group expands into digital health with acquisition of MHC

Health Management International, a regional healthcare provider in Southeast Asia, recently acquired Singaporean health tech company MHC Asia Group.

Indonesian National Hospital secures mobile apps and patient data with AppSealing

Indian Ministry of Health Launches Medical Education Platform

The Federal Ministry of Health of India has launched a new medical education platform.

Called SAKSHAM (Stimulating Advanced Knowledge for Sustainable Health Management), this learning management information system provides online training and medical education for health professionals across the country.

The platform currently offers over 200 public health courses and over 100 clinical courses.
