Even if we’re not pursuing continuous physical improvement, most of us want to live longer, and the supplement industry will be a booming market in 2024. In addition to its muscle-building properties and effects on performance, many people use supplements to increase productivity and even improve their sleep schedule.

For Robbie Robinson, a bodybuilding star who competed at the highest level of the IFBB Pro League in the 1970s and 1980s, supplements are essential to his daily activities. He recently detailed the stack of supplements he currently uses to boost his workout performance while also aiding in his anti-aging efforts.

Below is a quick list of Robbie Robinson’s supplement intake.

  • glutamine
  • L-citrulline
  • vitamin C
  • Vitamin B group
  • amino acid
  • creatine
  • glutathione

According to Robbie Robinson, his supplement routine is all about glutamine. With his first drink of the day, Robinson takes five scoops of glutamine, one scoop of creatine, and one scoop of L-citrulline.

“My entire supplement regimen consists of glutamine. First thing in the morning, I put five tablespoons of glutamine in my first drink.

Next, take a glass of creatine and a glass of L-citrulline. Because we’re talking about building testosterone, whereas creatine is talking about building muscle and strength. Glutamine helps the body recover from training. ” Said Robbie Robinson.

In addition, the bodybuilding icon receives vitamins C, B and amino acids.

“Vitamin C, I put a cup of vitamin C in there and I put some B vitamins in there,” Robinson added. “What I sometimes do is go to Dr. Rand and have them give me the same supplements intravenously. Glutamine, creatine, amino acids, all the same things are available in solution.”

Perhaps the most important supplement to his regimen is glutathione, which helps with sleep quality and anti-aging goals.

“Oh, it goes into the bloodstream right away. Because your body is lowered during your workout, it automatically fills up and recovers and helps your body recover. One of the main ingredients he puts in there is For one, it takes about 30 minutes with glutathione. Glutathione helps your body regenerate. It’s like anti-aging, so you don’t age as quickly. If you take it at night, you’ll sleep like a baby.”

Even if it’s not a technical supplement, Robinson vowed to use portable oxygen to maintain proper oxygen levels in the blood.

“I’ve been using this [portable oxygen tank] For years,” Robbie Robinson said. “I used this in the ’70s, but I didn’t take it to the gym. So it helps maintain oxygen levels in your bloodstream, which helps you build muscle and burn fat.”

Apart from Robbie Robinson, Andrew Huberman, a respected expert in health and neuroscience, has revealed some of the most effective supplements to improve your fitness levels. Similar to Robinson’s protocol, Huberman also advocated amino acids and creatine and suggested ideal dosages.

“You don’t have to be precise about this, but if you weigh, say, 185 to 250 pounds, you probably need to take about 10 grams of creatine per day, and that’s what I do,” says Dr. says. Huberman.

Fellow health expert Dr. Peter Attia also speaks out about a supplement routine aimed at increasing longevity and sleep quality.

“There are also supplements that I use for sleep. I’m a fan of glycine, ashwagandha, magnesium L-threonate, and just mag oxide. I don’t use melatonin unless I’m jet lagged,” says Peter Attia. The doctor explains.

Supplement intake and selection remains one of the most talked about topics in the fitness field, as it provides significant benefits for performance, cognition, sleep, and the ability to perform daily activities. Hearing which supplements Robbie Robinson, who has competed on some of bodybuilding’s most prestigious stages, still uses today provides valuable insight into longevity and anti-aging potential.

“There’s no secret,” Robinson added. “I do this every day.”
