Rheumatology joins six other medical specialties that accounted for over 95% of fellowship positions in 2022.

As in 2021, pediatric rheumatoid arthritis did not perform as well as adult programs, accounting for only 18 of 32 accredited programs (56.3%) and 27 of 43 accredited (62.8%). Over 66% of his applicants were her MD alumni. Eight were foreigners and one was a graduate of her DO.

Matched applicants will begin fellowship training in July 2023.
