Remi Bader is showing off the results of putting herself first.
On May 21, the content creator and body positive model posted a video to Instagram showing her transformation at the gym.
In the “before” video, the 29-year-old can be seen struggling with a core workout and shaking her head in abandon – before successfully completing the same workout in the “after” video.
“What a difference a few months of focusing on mental, emotional and physical strength have made,” Bader wrote in the video. “This isn’t about weight or looks or appearances, this is about putting yourself first and finding yourself again. Always put yourself first.”
“People come and go so always remember at the end of the day all you have is you. Thank you to the people who always support me in my darkest and lightest times,” she added in the caption.
Bader has been making great strides in her overall health and wellness journey: In September 2023, the influencer revealed she struggled with binge eating in a candid TikTok video, explaining that she’d had a very emotional day, so she “responded to it by eating, eating, eating, eating.”
3% of American adults suffer from binge eating disorder. WebMD The report defines it as excessive overeating and the feeling that you cannot stop, even when you are full.
The Victoria’s Secret ambassador disputed the idea that bulimia is a product of sadness, saying: “I’m not sad. I have a really amazing, happy life.”
“This addiction is the only thing that gives me any comfort,” Bader said.

Despite the progress she’s made over the years, Bader acknowledged that she continues to blame herself for these setbacks.
“I knew what I would do: I wanted to be alone, I wanted to eat, I wanted to destroy myself. It was just a strange way of thinking,” she said at the time.
Despite the challenges he faces, Bader remains relatively positive.
“A new day has begun…It happened, it’s over,” she said.
