Nowadays, stress builds up, and even young people have more gray hair. Stress and aging are not the only causes of gray hair, there are many other factors involved. This includes genetics, thyroid disease, vitamin deficiencies, smoking, and more.

While it may not be easy to reverse gray hair without using chemical-based colors, there are some Ayurvedic rituals that can help reduce gray hair naturally.

Dr. Dixa Bhavsar Savaliya took to his Instagram to share some Ayurvedic rituals to follow to restore premature gray hair. she wrote:

Nasha – Place 2 drops of Cowgie in each nostril at bedtime

Consume an Ayurvedic mixture made with four herbs It contains Amla, Brinraj, Brahmi and Curry leaves which are excellent in reducing cellular stress, inflammation, improving hair growth and reversing/delaying premature gray hair. : 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach in the morning or with ghee at bedtime.

Use a regular champi (oil your hair) or an herbal hair mask Nourishes hair roots directly. You can use hair oils based on hibiscus, curry leaves, neem, amla and brahmi. Depending on your hair type and what suits you, you can apply oil to your hair once, twice, or three times a week. Make sure your hair mask contains hibiscus, neem, yastimadu, brahmi, amla and brinraj. Use the hair mask 2-3 times a week, 30 minutes before washing.

In addition to these treatments, please note the following to experience the magic for yourself-

  1. Eat sweet, bitter and astringent foods.
  2. Include curry leaves, sesame seeds, amla, bitter gourd and beef ghee in your diet.
  3. Going to bed early is very imp. The better your sleep, the better your hair. Try to go to bed by 10pm.
  4. Always wash your hair with lukewarm or room temperature water.
  5. Practice Anuloma-Vilom and Bhramri Pranayama 21 times daily in the morning and at bedtime.

She further wrote: The above remedies can help manage/delay gray hair in your 40s and help improve hair quality by reducing stress and improving nutrition.
