This recall was originally announced by the government on September 6th. Centers for Disease Control and Preventionupgraded on September 30th. Class Iproducts that “cause serious adverse health effects or death.”
The original recall notice stated that 65 people in nine states were infected with Salmonella bacteria associated with the supplied eggs. Milo’s Poultry Farm LLC No deaths were reported, but 24 people were hospitalized, according to the CDC.
Milo’s chicken farm is located in Bonduel, Wisconsin, about 47 miles north of Green Bay.
