Private health care provider group Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care plans to adopt radiology AI solutions from Australian startup annalise.ai.
The formal introduction of Annalize Enterprise CXR follows previous proof-of-concept studies that found that the technology “enhanced” radiologists’ ability to detect key findings from chest radiographs.
Built on AWS cloud infrastructure, this clinical support tool uses AI to quickly and accurately detect and interpret up to 124 CXR findings. It will be installed in the radiology departments of RSDH’s flagship hospitals, Subang Jaya Medical Center and Bukittinggi Medical Center.
RSDH, which operates over 150 hospitals, plans to introduce the CXR tool to other hospitals in Malaysia and Indonesia.

AWS believes the partnership between annalise.ai and RSDH will lay the foundation for cloud deployments in Southeast Asia. The cloud solutions provider announced in March that he would establish an AWS infrastructure region in Malaysia to help customers in the country run their workloads and store their data securely locally with low latency.
Annalise.ai is actively expanding around the world. Most recently in May, First landing in IndiaBy opening a development center in Chennai, it has grown into one of the world’s largest medical device markets.
In other relevant news, RSDH’s flagship hospital, SJMC, recently Malaysia’s first connected medical service utilizing remote monitoring technology and telemedicine.
