QIC launches fully-digital mandatory visitors’ health insurance solution

DOHA: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), Qatar’s leading digital insurance company, is pleased to officially introduce a fully digital compulsory visitor health insurance solution. This is the fastest option to obtain such an insurance plan in Qatar.

International visitors can now obtain compulsory visitor health insurance in less than two minutes from anywhere in the world at qic.online before traveling to Qatar.

Simply select the duration of your stay in Qatar, add your personal details and pay online, no need to scan or submit any documents.

A mandatory visitor health insurance plan by QIC allows visitors to benefit from solid financial protection in case of emergency medical care and emergency medical assistance in Qatar. The insurance also covers medical expenses for visitors if they become ill in Qatar due to COVID-19 infection, emergency evacuation to the insured person’s home country, and repatriation of ashes.

QIC’s mandatory visitor health insurance is available at a fixed premium of QAR 50 per policy, and visitors with Hayya cards can obtain long-term plans valid until January 2024.
