Logan Paul and KSI’s hydration drink effort was slammed by one fitness influencer as “the most lucrative scam ever.” So why hasn’t Prime fallen short of its hydration goals?
Prime It has been a huge success since former rivals Logan Paul and KSI launched it in early 2022.

But as the stock sells off, a fitness influencer is speaking out to expose the drink. James SmithPrime, the world’s fastest growing online personal trainer, has accused Prime of failing to provide proper hydration to its buyers.
James, known for exposing harmful myths in dietary culture, has released a seven-minute video explaining why he believes Logan Paul and KSI “don’t even understand hydration.”
To understand how dehydration can occur and why Prime is not considered the solution, James explains that the purpose of hydration drinks is to replenish the body’s water and salt, or sodium. I explained that it is. Both are lost as the body sweats to regulate body temperature during prolonged exercise.

“When you play sports, [where you] A lot of water and a lot of salt is lost [and you] Replenishing with water alone can lead to a negative sodium balance over time,” says James, emphasizing the importance of a good electrolyte drink.

James goes on to tell viewers that there are numerous types of electrolytes, including: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium. All capacities are lost through sweat to some extent, but the most important is sodium, which is most important to replenish during exercise. That’s where Prime Hydration comes in (or not).

James called Prime ‘Logan Paul’s most lucrative scam to date’
Prime has only 5mg of sodium, instead an amazing amount of potassium to supplement its electrolyte content. Actually he is 700mg. By comparison, competing brands like Powerade contain 168mg of sodium and 200mg of potassium.
“So it’s understandable that when we sweat we lose primarily water and salt, but it’s one of those two things. [Prime of Powerade]Do you think is better in terms of replenishing missing sodium? asked James.
