Parkland Health Center recently welcomed FNP-BC’s Hunter Wadlow to its medical staff. Hunter is a family nurse and specializes in family medicine. He accepts new patients at the Parkland Health Center Medical Clinic North at 7245 Raider Rd. at Bontaire.
Hunter sees patients of all ages for a variety of injuries, illnesses, and conditions. He offers general adult and pediatric checkups, physical exams, cold and flu treatments, weight management, and immunizations. He also helps manage acute illnesses and injuries, acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia, asthma, COPD, gastrointestinal and skin conditions.
Hunter’s care philosophy focuses on working with patients and their healthcare teams to facilitate the highest quality care possible. He has demonstrated that he believes in working collaboratively to establish an individual care plan with each patient, providing compassionate care, and treating patients like his own family. advocates for rural health care and coordinates care plans to help meet the needs of patients living in rural areas.

Hunter grew up in Farmington where he spent most of his life. He is happy to have the opportunity to live in this area and continue to care for patients.
“I am very excited to start this work and provide care to my home community,” he said.
In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, and playing guitar with his family.
