Montgomery tackles mental state and now focuses on fitness
Before diving into the injury situation, T-Frank asks Montgomery about more good news. The former 2,000-yard rusher signed with Penn State in December. So what was that moment like?
“It was just a dream come true. I mean, I worked hard for it. Everyone around me, I appreciate them. They took me to where I wanted to be.” He went

“I just felt empty when I found out I had torn my ACL.
You know, I seemed to have passed it. I can’t look back. I got my mentals right first and foremost, so now I’m working on my physical. So I just took it as it was and just moved on,” he said.

Montgomery also addressed the running back situation in the 2023 class.
