Star Peloton Instructor Tunde Oyeneyin says she once struggled with her weight and by changing her mindset and focusing on self-improvement, she was able to sustainably lose 70 pounds.

“I lost weight, but my journey was what I gained,” she told Insider. “I gained confidence and understood my power.”

The turning point for Oyeneyin came in eighth grade when she was asked to be a bridesmaid at her cousin’s wedding.

“That was the moment I knew I needed to make a change,” she said.

“I’m a creature of habit,” she said.
