Semaglutide, also known as Ozempic, has been making headlines as a weight-loss drug, even though it is only FDA-approved for diabetes. Some people now say it helps calm cravings for food as well as cravings for alcohol, drugs, and other compulsive behaviors. Researchers have long studied the efficacy of Ozempic as an addiction treatment in animals. what did they find? And will it actually work?
