No Reward Gateway employee is immune to mental health struggles, but the London-based company has implemented a wellness strategy to combat burnout. For example, the company offers benefits that can be used for language classes, painting classes, gym memberships, and any kind of activity that fosters the mental and/or physical health of its employees.
Alex Powell, Director of Client Culture Insights at Reward Gateway, told HRD: “For example, I’m demotivated as a mother because I didn’t dictate what my child ate for lunch today. We’re training her to make better choices in the future. Trying to see the positive side of these things as much as possible.”
“The same goes for people in the workplace,” Powell said.
