The private members club, who voted for women to participate five years ago, will soon welcome the clinic, offering “a dedicated space for women’s fitness and happiness” in the historic building in the Royal Square.
United Club is to host Trudi Roscouet and her new venture EVE Studio.
Founded in 1848, the United Club was previously a gentleman’s club, before 2020 allowing “female members” to participate.
The building’s history dates back to the 1600s, previously serving as a corn exchange and townhouse before it was officially handed over to the club in 1932 for a total of £4,000.
In a statement, the club said that Eve Studios will open doors to the former registrar’s office, which has been restored on the ground floor this summer, offering a “dedicated space for women’s fitness and happiness” that “focuses on supporting women of all ages, from teenagers to teenagers over 65 years old.”
The statement continued: “As an organization that has embraced inclusion since becoming a mixed club in 2020, the United Club is committed to fostering a welcoming and diverse community.
“The committee is thrilled to welcome Trudy and her clients into the building and look forward to making an active contribution to the health of women in Jersey.”
