West, who played beloved character Deebrys on the iconic soap, wrote: “I continue to exercise to ensure #Baby has the best possible start. Regular gentle #exercise helps keep blood pressure down , lowers the risk of gestational diabetes. It’s great for my mental health and I’m well aware of how strong my body needs to be in the coming months and beyond.
“I attend a gym staffed by PTS who are well versed in taking care of #pregnant women. They’re wary of me, so I don’t have to hold heavy barbells across the room or twist into pretzels. Even if you wanted to, you’d stop faster than you can say “yoga rate.”
“If you want to voice your concerns, we appreciate it. But please be a little outraged and do so with vitriol. How we communicate online controls our output on social media, where humans respond best to anger and controversy. We are already teaching AI #Algorithms.
“There’s a very simple way to reverse that and take back control: Start being kind to each other.
“The single greatest sign of humanity’s humanity is when humans are kind.”
West is a mother of six children with her ex-husband, celebrity chef Shannon Bennett.
In announcing her pregnancy on social media earlier this month, West did not reveal who the father was.
“Oops!” she began an Instagram post at the time.
“I thought it was menopause, I thought I was wrong!
“There’s not a lot of Christmas pudding either. And I couldn’t be happier.
“I’m not so sure about the old man’s mom in the title, but here we are. I’m back for a bit to raise this little surprise package called 007 (baby number 7, I can’t help myself. I couldn’t do it).
“I don’t have much more to say right now, but I’ve noticed that I don’t hear much about elderly parents. I know you must be there. We don’t seem to be invisible. So if you’re expecting later than expected and are grappling with early parenthood in your 40s or 50s, I love [to] Please listen to your story. ”
West, who is based in Byron Bay, ended her post by asking her followers to send in all their tips and advice on essential newborn items.
“There’s a new world of scary new conflicts out there and I don’t know where to start!!! HELP!!!!”, she added.
The star has been very candid in recent years about her 2018 separation from Bennett after 13 years and her battle with anorexia and mental health issues.
Most recently, West was thought to be dating Byron Bay environmentalist Maxime Bottaro.
However, the pair have not been photographed together since at least December 2023.
West shares Phoenix, Hendricks, Zascha, Xanthe and twins Zaria and Margaux with Bennett, who is based in the Byron area.
