North Dakota (KXNET) — a new way to help mental health patients find the services they need has been published.
An increasing number of people are seeking help or looking for someone to talk to about their mental health.
According to Mental Health America, North Dakota is one of the cities with the highest number of people with mental health problems.
That’s why the North Dakota Department of Social Services now offers a mental health directory that makes finding services faster and easier for those in need.
“As of this morning, there are 184 programs listed in the North Dakota Mental Health Directory,” said Heather Brandt, behavioral health community support manager for the North Dakota Department of Social Services.
The directory is a public website that anyone can visit to find the best service for their needs.
